Hydrogen Transportation
Ensuring safety in hydrogen handling is a top priority for us. Given hydrogen’s reactivity with certain materials, such as some carbon steels, we have adopted a careful approach in material selection.
Rather than relying on traditional materials like carbon steels, we have chosen micro-alloyed steels, stainless metals, and other materials, including aluminum and compounds, ensuring safety in our process.
An example of our attention to safety is the construction of a 2.3 km pipeline using polymeric material. This pipeline transports hydrogen from our electrolysis plant to well F-160, where we conduct our underground hydrogen storage project.
We are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards and using advanced technologies to ensure the safe handling of hydrogen in all our operations.
